Visitors From Another Country

This past week we had some visitors! My Mom and Bethany (my little sister) flew in from the States and stayed a week. It was so nice of them to brave the snow and come for a visit :-)

Bethany really enjoyed playing on our ukulele (if you couldn't tell)! She also enjoyed sledding in a cardboard box and making snow angels.

Spot it! and Bananagrams (Mom was the MVP of Bananagrams) were played often, along with a few games of Survival.

Luke made his signature crepes for them (of course!) and I helped.

Although I don't know if adding the wrong flour to the batter really counts as helping!  The crepe to the right is the only surviver following five attempts using almond flour...oops!

We had such a good time together and I didn't pull out the camera often enough. We were so happy to have them and be able to show them this part of the world that we call home. Come back soon!

With Christmas just around the corner we decided it was time to do some decorating.

This little tree helps make our place festive (it also looks better in real life ;))

We made ourselves matching Christmas stockings.

It was a fun evening project!

In other events, this amazing man celebrated his birthday on December 7th.

I am incredibly thankful to have him in my life. I Love you Sweetheart!
